When Silence Isn't Absence: My Journey Back to the Blog

Hey dear reader, It’s been a while. Honestly, I didn’t plan to go silent. Life just happened. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. I kept telling myself, “I’ll write tomorrow.” But tomorrow kept slipping through my fingers. In this quiet season, I wrestled with a lot, distractions, weariness, doubt, even guilt. Maybe you’ve been there too. That feeling of being distant from what once gave you joy. The quiet moments where you wonder if you're still called, still seen, still capable. But here's what I've learned: Silence does not mean absence. Just because I wasn't posting didn’t mean God wasn’t present. Just because I felt still didn’t mean He had stopped moving. Even in the hush of my own heart, He was gently working. Teaching. Shaping. Reminding me that His love isn't tied to how "productive" I am.
